1. Preamble
The Club values the importance of maintaining the confidentiality and privacy of its members, sponsors, suppliers, and website visitors.
The Committee shall adhere to the Australian Privacy Principles contained in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and subsequent amendments.
"Personal information" is information we hold which is identifiable as being about you.
Our Privacy Policy sets out to outline in plain English:

- How we use and disclose your personal information.
- The quality of your personal information.
- How you can access your personal information.
- Security of your personal information; and
- How to contact us.
2. What we collect and how we collect it
We generally collect personal information directly from you, for example, when you fill out your membership application, or deal with us in person, by mail, email, over the telephone or via our website. The nature of personal information collected and maintained by us generally comprises information such as your name and address, your contact details (address, telephone numbers, e-mail address) and Jaguar vehicle details. Your email address will only be used or disclosed for the purpose for which you have provided it, and it will not be added to a mailing list or used or disclosed for any other purpose without your consent. Financial information is held and recorded only to the extent that we require it to process your financial transactions with us. The only purpose that we have in collecting or holding this information is the efficient management of the Club in accordance with the Club’s Constitution.
3. What we use it for
Information is collected to establish and maintain the data records that allow for the efficient management of the Club and its activities. We only use your personal information for internal administration and to assist us to identify and inform you of activities conducted by us that may be of interest to you. We will use reasonable endeavours to prevent the disclosure of your personal information except to the extent:
- Indicated at the time you supply the information to us or expressly permitted under any agreement with you.
- Required for performance by us of our activities for you.
- Required under compulsion of law or provided in cooperation with any government authority.
- Where it is already publicly available, or we disclose it in a manner that does not readily permit the identification of information relating to you.
- We undertake not to sell, rent or trade your personal information.
- Selected personal information may be shared amongst the Members of the Club unless you tell us otherwise.
4. Accuracy and quality of information
We will use reasonable endeavours to ensure that the information held is accurate and will update our records at the earliest opportunity following notification of any errors or changes.
5. What information does the Club have on me?
On request, you may access personal information collected and held by us. Further, if you believe that your personal information is not accurate, or incomplete, you may change it yourself at any time, or request that we make necessary corrections, additions, or deletions. In order to do so, we ask that you put your request in writing by email or post.
6. Use of your personal information
Your personal information will be held in a responsible manner, with access limited to those with a legitimate “need to know”, bona fide officers of the Club, or those in the Club with the delegated authority of the Committee.
7. Disclosure of your personal information
We may disclose your personal information to any of our Club officers, insurers, professional advisers, agents, suppliers, or subcontractors insofar as reasonably necessary for the purposes set out in this Policy. Personal information is only supplied to a third party when it is required for the delivery of our services.
We may, from time to time, need to disclose personal information to comply with a legal requirement, such as a law, regulation, court order, subpoena, or warrant, in the course of a legal proceeding or response to a law enforcement agency request.
We may also use your personal information to protect the copyright, trademarks, legal rights, property or safety of, the proprietor of this domain, its customers or third parties.
Information that we collect may, from time to time, be stored, processed, or transferred between parties located in countries outside of Australia. These may include but are not limited to the USA.
If there is a change of control in our business or a sale or transfer of business assets, we reserve the right to transfer, to the extent permissible at law, our user databases, together with any personal information and non-personal information contained in those databases. This information may be disclosed to a potential purchaser under an agreement to maintain confidentiality. We would seek to only disclose information in good faith and where required by any of the above circumstances.
By providing us with personal information, you consent to the terms of this Privacy Policy and the types of disclosure covered by this Policy. Where we disclose your personal information to third parties, we will request that the third party follow this Policy regarding handling your personal information.

We are committed to ensuring that the information you provide to us is secure. To prevent unauthorised access or disclosure, we have put in place suitable physical, electronic, and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure information and protect it from misuse, interference, loss and unauthorised access, modification and disclosure.
The transmission and exchange of information is carried out at your own risk. We cannot guarantee the security of any information that you transmit to us or receive from us. Although we take measures to safeguard against unauthorised disclosures of information, we cannot assure you that the personal information that we collect will not be disclosed in a manner that is inconsistent with this Privacy Policy.
