DetailThismonth…we drive

Wehave had a few picnics lately in the one location, now it’s time to get in ourbeautiful cars and take them cruising.

Meetingat 9.30am at the Calder ServiceCentre/Station we will depart promptly at 10.00am heading out towardsGisborne and Mount Macedon.  Take in thebeautiful Autumnal colours as we drive through the scenic country side.  Maps and directions will be handed out at themeeting place.

Thiswill be a drive with options…

Onarrival at Gisborne feel free to leave the convoy and stop to browse therenowned Gisborne Olde Time Market alongthe service roads of Hamilton and Aitken Streets. This market offers so muchwith over 250 stalls catering for all ages. There is a lot to enjoy here. Grabsome morning tea and start shopping!

Followthe drive instructions and keep going through Gisborne to the beautiful MountMacedon Ranges where we will stop at the fabulous Tieve Tara Gardens to enjoy the surrounds in this little piece ofheaven. $10.00pp entry.Pack your morning tea and walkingshoes and take

inthe beauty.

Then…

Everyonewill re-group and meet for a long leisurely lunch at Baringo in New Gisborne at 1.00pm.   Lunch is strictly bookings only, so don’tmiss out; get onto Trybooking search JCCV or contact your Social Team for helpto register.

Whatto bring?

Bringa picnic morning tea for the garden option, but not too much, save room forlunch. 

Walkingshoes, camera and everything from sun hats to umbrellas.  It is autumn after all!
