For Sale 1960 Mk 2 Jaguar 3.8 Manual O-D

A matching number car verified by a heritage certificate and originally delivered to Australia. 

Sally is advertising her late husband’s restoration project - as below:

Exterior Colour: Black (original colour Cotswold Blue) 

Interior Colour: Black ambla seats (original interior trim colour Grey) 

There are black ambla seats that could also be used as they are. 

It has been off the road since 1984 in dry storage.

Chassis/Engine number LA5643-8 

The engine has been removed. 

The original engine is stripped down, but it looks like it would recondition well.

There are some spare heads etc. 

There is a good running 4.2 litre engine from an XJ6.

The owner’s plan was to use this while the original block was being rebuilt. 

While it doesn't look pretty, you can see what you are buying.

A restoration has been started by the previous owner.

Looking inside the door skins, the repairs appear sound. 

A few spares have collected along the way - like a re-chromed front bumper and some re-sleeved brake callipers. All included.

The car is in Stirling, South Australia, and anyone interested will need to be able to collect it from there.
